Today's business environment is framed by a complex set of government regulation and law which apply to the relationship of employer and employee, including the ADA, ADEA, FMLA, Equal Pay Act, Title VII, and other matters related to discrimination. In addition, the employment relationship is still affected by concerns over the protection of business information, trade secrets, and the use of such information in competition. We work with a number of clients in planning to understand and navigate the regulatory framework and other concerns relating to the workplace. When disputes or litigation arise, we also work with both employer and employee clients to help them satisfy their objectives in resolving such disputes.
