General FAQ

When should I call you?

You can contact us by phone at (260) 423-1430 during our office hours: weekdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You may also contact us during non-business hours to leave a voice mail. In addition, you may contact us by e-mail, at the addresses found in our website.

What should I bring to our first meeting?

The first meeting is often a time to talk together about your objectives and determine the scope and course of what work we will be doing for you. If there are documents which are relevant to your situation, you should plan to bring those. In any given situation, there may be other documents or things which may be necessary. In setting up the appointment, you should ask the attorney if there is anything in particular which you need.

How much is this going to cost me?

The cost of our services will depend upon the type of work done and the amount of work done. This question should be asked of the specific attorney with whom you meet. Even then, it may be difficult initially to give a complete estimate of the total cost of any project. We are able to accept payment by credit card.

How do I get to SKBW?

Our office is located at 229 W. Berry St., Ste. 400, in Fort Wayne. We are downtown, at the corner of Berry Street and Webster Street, near the main branch of the public library, First Presbyterian Church, the Community Center and Parkview Field. There is metered parking along Berry Street. You can also park in the Light & Bruening lot at the southwest corner of Berry and Harrison, less than a block from our office, and we will validate the ticket for you.
